Perioperative Tech Asst - Endoscopy Suite

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community since its founding in 1890. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence, a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.

The Clinical Technician (Perioperative Tech Asst) in the Endoscopy Suite will possess knowledge and skills necessary to function in the support role of setup and cleanup of supplies and equipment for all operating room/anesthesia cases. The flow of procedures will be facilitated by cleaning surfaces, changing anesthesia circuits, picking/opening supplies, sterilizing equipment and restocking.

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR required
  • Direct patient care experience preferred.
  • Operating room, central supply, or comparable experience in a related health care field preferred.
