Summary
Maine Behavioral Health is actively recruiting for a Patient Financial Services Associate II role. This position is 100% remote. It is a Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule. Flexibility of hours are available once the candidate has completed training and has demonstrated an understanding of the position. Strong phone communication skills are desirable for the candidate.
Position Summary
The Patient Financial Services Associate II role is responsible for the specific set of patient accounting which could include the appropriate billing, training, and/or follow up/denial resolution of insurance claims within filing limits to support the proper account completion and closure.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. License/Certifications: N/A Experience: One year in a related healthcare field required. Hospital or provider-based billing experience is preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Patient Financial Services Associate I role. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
