The Clinical Genetic Intake Coordinator is responsible for the registration and scheduling of patients to the Department of Clinical Genetics, ensuring that all required patient information is collected and entered into our research database as well as into our EPIC EMR system at the time of appointment scheduling. Clerical duties include, but are not limited to, chart creation, medical record collection, data entry, insurance verification, and delivery of excellent customer service via phone to patients and referring providers.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Experience
1 Year experience as an Intake Coordinator or related role (Required)
1 Year administrative experience in the healthcare field (Required)
1 Year experience with appointment scheduling and insurance verification (Required)
