Job Description:
  • PURPOSE OF JOB :
Closely observe up to 10 patients simultaneously, under the direction of the Registered Nurse, utilizing remote audio and video monitoring technology to enhance patient safety.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
  • Provide a safe environment for the patient through use of a secure audio-visual monitoring system while demonstrating dignity and respect for the patient.
  • Effectively communicate with patient care team members, patients and families with consideration for age-specific accommodations
  • Provides/assists with physical and emotional patient care needs under the direction of the Registered Nurse .
Job Qualifications:
V. QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED completion.
  • Experience: Varies according to department or position
  • Other Skills: Certified in HS or BLS CPR (unit requirement), excellent interpersonal and team building skills, must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Training time required once hired: Dependent upon candidate
