Summary: Responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answering phones
Location: 4072 Gantz Rd, Grove City, OH
Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM
Schedule: As needed basis. Supervisor will determine schedule

Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet patient when entering the practice
- Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service
- File and maintain medical records
- Confirms and schedule appointments
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ months of experience working in a medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records
- 6+ months of healthcare or customer service-related experience
- Proficient in typing (50-60 wpm) and Microsoft Office
