Summary
We are looking for someone that wants to be a part of the Cardiac Procedures Unit (CPU) at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center as a check-in/front lobby clerk. As check-in, you would assist patients by arriving them and giving them materials related to their procedure. This is a full-time position. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.

Background Screening

Responsibilities*
Duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Scheduling inpatients for procedures in Michart/Optime
- Supporting nursing staff and Physicians
- Paging staff
- Preparing patient charts
- Providing a daily lunch count for patients
- Order medical equipment for patients and nursing staff
- Arranging patient transportation through MiChart
- Answering phones and triaging calls
- Check patients in for procedures
- Arrange follow-up appointments
- Cover vacations by working other shifts and areas
Required Qualifications*
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years of experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attendance record
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to multitask in a fast pace environment
Desired Qualifications*
- MiChart access
- Previous clerical experience
