An exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Representative is now available with our Radiology/Laboratory services at the Hospital. We are seeking an energetic, highly organized individual to manage and ensure collection of accurate data related to order verification, registration, insurance authorization and detailed messaging utilizing excellent customer service skills. In this position you will perform administrative/clerical duties in support of Radiology and Lab services.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Requires excellent customer service skills, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year general office experience in medical setting preferred
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
Position Details:
1.0 FTE (full-time, 40 hours per week)
