Insight Global is looking for a Payroll Specialist for a client of ours in the Battle Creek area. This person will be responsible for managing employee salary data, ensuring timesheets are accurate and payments are made on time for roughly 400 hourly employees and 60 salary employees. This person will utilize Kronos to ensure all payroll related tasks are entered and processed accurately. They will work closely and interface with the Human Resources team to ensure payroll is run on time. They will also be responsible for receiving input from HR functions, entering data into Kronos, ensuring data accuracy, and forwarding this to corportae payroll team. As well as completing any corrections, deductions, reimbursements, gathering data, etc. if need be. This role will be 5 days on site in Battle Creek.

Required Skills & Experience

Musts:

* 4-7 years of payroll experience

o Such as: receiving input from HR functions, entering data into the Kronos tool, ensuring data accuracy, and forwarding this to corportae payroll team. As well as completing any corrections If need be and resolving all discrepancies.

* 4-7 years using Kronos

* This individual must be extremely detail oriented and organized

* Must be comfortable working with cross functional teams as they will be working closely with the scheduling team and labor relations team for OT and applying the correct terms

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Pluses:

* Bachelor's degree

* Union environment experience in a large corporation
