Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a global agriculture-business cooperative . Looking for a Payroll Specialist (Intermediate) in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is a 6+ Month Contract, potential to extend and/or hire on perm./FTE.

Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN
Contract: 6+ Month Contract
Schedule: Hybrid, Mon-Fri, Two Days (Tuesday is Mandatory, other day is flexible), Normal Business Hours
Pay: $25-30/HR + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls
• Processing, analyzing, time off accruals, voluntary/involuntary payroll deductions, new hire information, changes, terminations, bonuses, retirement, etc.
• Setup and maintain garnishments, tevies, child support notices, as well as processing disclosure forms and request vendor payments
• Setup and maintain employee direct deposit information
• Special projects, team collaboration, and performing administrative duties as needed

Requirements:

• Associate degree in related field OR FPC/CPP Certification + 2 years of payroll experience, working in fast-paced/high volume environment
• In lieu of degree/certifications, 6+ years high level payroll experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of HRIS System, including Lawson Software, WorkBrain Time and Attendance, Dayforce (Ceridian)
• Experience working in a corporate payroll department
