Univeristy Health's Pedi Hematology/Oncology Unit is a dedicated Hematology/Oncology unit. We are looking for Registered Nurses for Nights and Days, Full Time and Part Time. We have low patient ratios and utilize EPIC Charting System.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the inpatient setting, collaborates with other departments and begins process of proactive thinking when implementing the plan of care. Serves as mentor to staff nurse and ancillary personnel; Receives mentoring from Staff Nurse II and III, Nurse Educator and Patient Care Coordinator.

Requirements:

• Current RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing

• BSN highly preferred, but not required

• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS card
