Pediatric Respiratory Therapist CRT/RRT Day shift

The Registered Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric/Neonatal shall perform duties involved with the treatment, management control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities within the Pulmonary system. This individual is responsible for pediatric and neonatal therapeutic equipment and processes including: intubation, ventilator management with conventional, as well as, high-frequency oscillatory (HFO) ventilation, Nitric Oxide and surfactant administration. The RRT may assist in high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and regional ground transports. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.Description

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy required, Bachelor's of Science in Respiratory Care preferred. If credentialed after 2002, must maintain active membership status for credentials issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care. License / Certification required: NBRC RRT and ASBRT RRT required. BLS required. PALS required. NRP required. S.T.A.B.L.E. required. Neonatal Pediatric Transport certification required if assisting with regional ground transport.? Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. ? Must have the ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints. ? Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
