**We also offer up to $5,000 in relocation reimbursement
Under indirect supervision, the Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist I provides high quality sonograms for interpretation and diagnosis by a Pediatric Radiologist, adhering to all quality and patient safety standards, as well as standards for professional behavior, as defined by the organization.
This position requires independent, efficient performance of high-level pediatric general ultrasound, extremity vascular, neonatal, interventional and perioperative support, as required, in the pediatric hospital, procedural, and outpatient environment. This is a full time night shift position, Friday-Sunday, 7pm-730am.

Minimum Training and Education:
• Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Two to three years’ experience performing dedicated pediatric ultrasound required
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from am American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and all hospital and community caregivers.
- Management of patient priority.
- Interdepartmental teamwork for patient care coordination in hospital and procedural setting
- Timely preparation and communication of preliminary reports.
- Demonstrated competency in all aspects of RIS and PACS as it pertains to modality specific functions and use.
- Adherence to all department policies, procedures, and protocols.
