Position Summary:
Assists employees with all day to day Human Resources functions.
Responsible for main front line receptionist duties for department, including answering telephone and greeting employees and visitors.
Creates and distributes name badges for all staff, physicians, students and vendors, and updates badge information in payroll, access and timekeeping software for staff.
Provides assistance with Human Resources and Employee Health day-to-day activities.Provides regular filing on a day-to-day basis.Completes information correctly and timely in response to employment verification requests.Supports future hires through onboarding process.Supports New Hire Employee Orientation biweekly.Provides back up to HR Specialist.
Prepares communications and other documents as required.
Supports employee activities
Others duties as assigned
Reports to: People Services Director
Qualifications
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent Preferred
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work ExperienceMinimum 2 years of related experience preferred. Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
