We are looking for a part-time IOP clinician who holds a behavioral health license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, PsyD) to be part of the Kiwi Recovery team! Clinicians at Kiwi Recovery provide the highest level of quality mental health and recovery focused treatment for teens and transitional age youth (ages 12-18, 18-25) in our Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program.

Candidates will have experience and expertise in:

1. Treatment of patients with substance use and mental health disorders.

2. Experience facilitating evidenced based therapy focused groups and be knowledgeable in the treatment of dual diagnosis and mental health disorders.

3. Function independently, have the ability to manage crises and understand levels of care for addiction and psychiatric treatment.

4. Strong interpersonal skills, be able to work well on a multidisciplinary clinical team, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

5. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, effective time management tactics and possess organizational skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate evidenced-based therapeutic groups focused on addiction and mental health skill building, psychoeducation and expressive therapies.

2. Comfort in carrying a caseload of 10-12 patients.

3. Complete biopsychosocial assessments, risk assessments, progress notes and other required clinical documentation.

4. Engage with clients, parents/guardians/family, to identify treatment plan needs.

5. Knowledge of case management procedures and discharge planning.

6. Strong treatment planning and documentation skills.

7. Confidence in utilizing de-escalation techniques, completing crisis assessments and moving patients to higher levels of care when clinically indicated.

8. Knowledge of Massachusetts regulations with regard to duty to warn and protect.

9. Compliance with maintaining standards in regards to outside credentialing agencies such as The Joint Commission, The Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, and insurers.
