Position Information

Position Title Per Diem Registered Nurse Overview
Review the health forms for incoming students via EMR (Medicat).
Essential Duties:
  • Review incoming freshman and transfer students electronic health forms (Medicat), checking for RIDOH compliance (immunizations, TB), and college requirements (healthHX, PE, Insurance). 
  • Email students who have submitted incomplete forms explaining what is missing and provide a compliance report weekly to the Executive Director and Assistant Director.
  • Email students who have not submitted forms and monitor for compliance.
  • Regularly check for new records that have been uploaded. Timeframe to be determined by the Executive Director. 
Marginal Duties:
  • Perform all other duties as may be required.



Education and Experience Required
  • Associate Degree from an accredited institution, and a current RI Registered Nurse license.
  • Three to five years' experience.
  • Clear understanding of immunization requirements for RI Colleges/Universities.
  • Clear understanding of EMR (Medicat).
