Per Diem- Residential Signature Services Assistant

We at Bedford Falls are looking for a compassionate Signature Services Associate to join our team! The Signature Services Associate main focus would be to accompany residents to appointments, day trips, and personal trip requests. Assistance with other Actives and Programming needs, when applicable.

Per Diem hours are scheduled as needed during Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Occasional nights and weekends if applicable.

Signature Services Associate Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists in transporting and/or accompanying residents to appointments
• Assists resident with care while out of the community, if needed.
• Ensures the safety and wellbeing of residents while outside the community.
• Supports the resident's abilities by understanding that all aspects of care can be viewed as an activity
• Demonstrates knowledge about residents in regard to background, participation needs, physical abilities, interests, cognitive capacity and attention span capability
• Communicates any changes in the residents condition or behavior pattern to Activity Director

Job Requirements:

Signature Services Associate Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and disability issues. Must be qualified by experience and training to develop programs appropriate for elders and disabled individuals.
• Possesses training and knowledge in recreational activities
• PCA certificate is required (we will provide training class if candidate does not have)
• LNA preferred, but not required.
