Your Role:

As a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, you will be an integral part of our rehabilitation team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing personalized speech/language programs to assist with residents' rehabilitation.
• Restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing essential communication and swallowing skills.
• Coordinating the acquisition and use of adaptive communication devices.
• Tailoring activities to each resident's unique needs and interests.
• Collaborating with the rehab team to create individualized therapeutic plans.
• Training residents in necessary skills and evaluating their progress.
• Adjusting programs to meet the specific needs of each resident.
• Participating in care meetings and contributing to interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Providing training and sharing your expertise with staff.
• Supervising supportive personnel to ensure high standards of care.

What You Bring:

• A graduate degree from an accredited Speech-Language curriculum.
• Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• New Jersey state licensure.
• Eligibility for a Certificate of Clinical Competency from ASHA.
