Dover Family Practice

Our practice is located in a state-of-the-art facility at 10 Members Way, Dover, NH 03820. As a Family Medicine office, we provide outstanding primary care and preventative health care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a per-diem Office Nurse to provide on-site support to our Dover Family Practice team! Our practice is open Monday through Friday, and the ideal schedule for this RN is 8:30am-5:00pm. This team is open to a RN that can commit to as many shifts per week as possible, but ideally 2 shifts weekly at minimum. There is also a possibility to take on shifts at other nearby practices within our entity as well!

The responsibilities of this role will consist of primarily phone triage but also has some patient facing hands-on aspects as well. The Nurse will handle patient interactions via telephone, provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinate proper disposition. Calls are related to patient concerns and education, appointments, pre and post procedures, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and test results.

We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned practices and locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the WHP system when appropriate and needed during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances for cross-coverage purposes and to ensure adequate coverage and support.

The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable RN who is confident in their clinical abilities and genuinely enjoys variety.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in NH required.
• BLS required prior to hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a community-based ambulatory setting preferred.
