Your Job

As the Performance Improvement Leader, you will be key in establishing and advancing the emerging transformation opportunities. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and influence to drive the advancement of INVISTA's Reliability and Monitoring Capability.

Our Team

In this role, you will lead the team to identify opportunities and apply modern tools, workflow changes, and digital/automated technology to drive stable and reliable operations. Your team includes the below capabilities:
  • Modeling & Analytics: Create/utilize models and data analysis techniques to optimize plant operations, predict failures, and make informed decisions using anomaly detection systems
  • Monitoring: Analyze data from various advanced monitoring systems to identify emerging failure patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Asset Reliability: Drive reliability projects and strategies, lead efforts to refine equipment strategies, and spearhead the understanding and resolution of causes behind unplanned downtime
  • Performance Improvement: Engage in projects and activities that improve the performance and efficiency of processes within the plant.


What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with Businesses, Operations, Maintenance, Turnaround and Asset Management Leaders to define highest value priorities to set work direction for reliability and monitoring capabilities
  • Oversee implementation of initiatives and strategies aimed at improving overall site performance, efficiency, and productivity
  • Establish and advance best practices for most profitable asset strategy development, evolution of asset strategies, and transparency to long-range optimization
  • Ensure the development & ownership of Operational Excellence programs and Critical Management systems, Site Investigations, TA Discovery Teams, and Top Risk Processes
  • Communicate existing and emerging business and equipment issues as appropriate while encouraging transparency of issues and risk at all levels
  • Leads a team that identifies, adopts and deploys modern tools, applies workflow changes and integrates digital/automated technology to drive stable and reliable operations


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in a Technical or Operations Role in a refinery, petrochemical, or PSM covered facility
  • Knowledge of compliance and engineering standards
  • Experience in a leadership role (Ex: leading projects/initiatives, developing a team, leading transformation, etc.)
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Math, or Science field
  • Experience with engineering software
  • Experience in an Asset Reliability Leadership or Operations Management
  • Experience applying monitoring and anomaly detection practices for early failure mode identification
