The Performance Reporting Team is responsible for daily account maintenance and data analysis. This individual should have a great attention to detail to maintain information on multiple performance platforms to support Baird Financial Advisors and our clients. This individual will have the opportunity to learn about performance calculation and reporting within a dynamic and challenging environment. Must have a combination of technical, problem solving, mathematical skills and comfortable working with large data sets, in addition to the ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels.

As a Performance Reporting Specialist, you will:
  • Provide high value service to internal and external clients in an environment that promotes Baird’s culture and the Operations mission and values statement.
  • Serve as first point of contact for situations within our branch network and Operations via phone and department inbox.
  • Support Financial Advisor requests including the ability to analyze and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of account data, performance outlier review and data validation.
  • Contribute to productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements to drive deliverables for our clients.
  • Work on special team projects or support other team members in their efforts.
  • Process complex transactions for Baird custody accounts and outside custody Bank DVP accounts to ensure accounts a ready for advisory trading each day and performance returns can be accurately calculated.

What we look for:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a financial services role is a plus.
  • SIE & Series 99 or series 7 licensed or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn SQL/Power BI.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments; work under pressure and within deadlines to produce accurate, high-quality results.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, monitor, and complete multiple tasks or projects, either independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as the interpersonal skills to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team while completing work independently as needed.
