Job Description
SCOPE OF POSITION
The Perioperative Quality/Safety Coordinator is responsible for the perioperative quality and safety programs for the operating rooms within their assigned market. The coordinator will have a primary focus on the Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) program. The coordinator will analyze risk management data, compliance and outcomes measures, to promote best practice and improve safety for patients and staff. The Coordinator will keep current with evidence-based practice, collaborate with other ERAS centers, conduct and facilitate educational programs based upon identified needs, and initiate performance improvements to achieve top-tier performance. The coordinator will serve as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for operations regarding adoption and adherence to ERAS principles of care and the perioperative service quality and safety program.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Two years of relevant work experience in clinical processes or other diagnostic and interventional treatment Two years experience in leadership, healthcare preferred. Previous experience using Microsoft Office, preferred.
Valid and active RN licensure in appropriate state
