- The Ha rris Center for Mental Health and IDD ("The HARRIS CENTER") is looking for a Pharmacist (relief)! The Pharmacist provides accurate, efficient and appropriate pharmaceutical distribution services to consumers by properly interpreting drug orders, entering orders into the pharmacy computer system, and dispensing the appropriate medications.
What you will do:- Supervision of the Pharmacy in the absence of PIC .
- Supervision of Pharmacy Technicians .
- Interpreting drug orders, entering drug orders into pharmacy computer system, and dispensing appropriate medication.
- Monitors for efficient drug therapy, drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, contradictions, allergies and sensitivities.
- Compliant with agency educational and licensure requirements.
What qualifications you will need:- Bachelor's Degree (B.S in Pharmacy) or Pharm D.
- Must have valid Texas Drivers license & Pharmacist License through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- 3 years related experience required in working in a pharmacy as a Pharmacist with a minimum of one year supervisory experience.
- The person must have well-developed interpersonal, organizational skills, be a team player with a desire to provide quality work.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication
skills. - Must be computer literate and able to use software effectively.
- Should also demonstrate a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills with ability to effectively converse and listen to others and construct clear and concise written communication.
- Ability to identify and offer solutions to resolve problems, using knowledge of the organization to identify helpful resources effective time management and organizational skills.

This is a Part Time Relief position that provides both Inpatient Pharmacy Care and Outpatient Retail Pharmacy care.
The shift and location may vary for this position and is expected to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays ,and provide disaster response as needed.
This position will be floated between different locations as needed.
