Pharmacy Purchasing Agent

JOB SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, responsible for directing and coordinating the purchase of pharmaceuticals, goods and services for the institution and the implementation of purchasing goals. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Three (3) years experience in health care materiel control function, with some supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with purchasing/supply standardized methods and inventory control systems.
• Ability to use word processors, databases and spreadsheets
