Work location: 12400 Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033

Work hours: Full Time, 7 on/7 off evenings, 3:00pm - 1:30am (Full Time-Evenings)

Here's What You Need

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required

Experience

  • None Required is required
  • Hospital experience and IV sterile compound certified but neither are requirements for screening or hire and can be stated as a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

  • RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire is required And
  • Other IV Certification is preferred

What You Will Do

  • Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location.
  • Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives.
  • Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time.
  • Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel.
  • Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
