The role you'll contribute:

Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. Supports pharmacists in providing distributive pharmacy services. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care

Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency in:
• Standard work parameters
• Operational programs

Develops operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services listed below:
• Central Pharmacy
• IV Room

Appropriately utilizes medication automation, technology, and computer systems
• Accurately interprets electronic records
• Maintains expertise in electronic medical record processes

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :


• High School Grad or Equiv 0 years experience
• Eligible to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state, if applicable
