General Information:

The Department of Philosophy & Religion is seeking a part-time instructor for Fall 2024 to deliver the following courses:
PHIL 120: Critical Thinking (90 students, TuTh 11:10 - 12:25)
PHIL 315: Logic and Legal Reasoning (20 students, TuTh 15:55 - 17:10).

Duties and Responsibilities:

The instructor will deliver courses in person on the campus of James Madison University. Duties are for the academic semester and include course preparation, lecturing, leading discussion, grading and holding weekly office hours.

Qualifications:

At least a master's degree in philosophy, with particular expertise in areas relevant to Logic and Legal Reasoning.
