TEMP TO PERM PHLEBOTOMIST -

40hrs Days - 7:00am to 3:30pm ***

1. Client Hospital, a premier mental health institution, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Temp to Permanent Phlebotomist. This role involves drawing blood from both adult and adolescent patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and specimen integrity.

2. Job Description:

Maintain established department policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Process a variety of specimens in accordance to established protocols. Data entry into both the hospital and laboratory information systems.

Monitor requests for laboratory testing that have not been processed through the laboratory information system. Perform quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure the correctness of data entry.

3. Rotation Requirements: Rotate onto weekends and holidays as needed.

4. EMR (Charting System): EPIC.

5. Patient Population:

Adult and Adolescent patients.

6. Required Credentials:

Active MA Phlebotomist License, Valid MA Driver's License.

Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited institution.
