Vitalant is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, m ost days you’ll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you’ll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you’ll get to:
- Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site
- Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
- Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
- Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations.
- Drive company vehicles including vans, buses to drive sites
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to complete and pass CDL license program
- Ability to travel as required
- Successful completion of supervisory training program within six months
- Two years phlebotomy experience preferred
