Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical, Nursing and Health Sciences Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Physiatrist. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation seeks a BE/BC Physiatrist with strong interpersonal skills to join the expanding PM&R team. The position will assist in growth of the inpatient service line including consultation services. This is a hybrid role that consists of inpatient service at the downtown Rush University Medical Center campus. This position includes research, community engagement, and teaching opportunities. The Department is part of the Rush Neurosciences Service Line and collaborates with nationally and internationally renowned neurosurgeons, transplant surgeons, cancer providers and other specialists.

This individual would join a robust team of expert faculty who treat thousands of adults and children with disabilities secondary to a variety of conditions including acute and chronic neurological and complex medical conditions, deconditioning, spine pain, osteoarthritis and peripheral joint disease, osteoporosis and general outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation care.
