Job Duties
Provide day to day supervision of physical therapist and physical therapy assistants in clinic setting.
Facilitate management of inventory and supplies, data collection, quality improvement measures and inmate specialty programs promoting health and wellness.
Provide day to day physical therapy services to patient inmates. Services include outpatient orthopedics as well as Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation/Acute care.
Provide physical therapy evaluations, progress notes, updated plans of care, and discharges.
Collaborate with other Physical Therapy (PT) clinic team members and medical staff to improve patient care.
Assignments to other duties or locations may be necessary to meet the clinical and administrative needs of the Department.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program
- Current physical therapy license in Virginia
- Experience evaluating and treating patients with various acute and chronic orthopedic dysfunctions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to play an active role collaborating with other medical professionals to provide optimum care
- Possesses leadership skills
- Experience in patient centered program development within rehabilitation setting
- Clinical experience in multiple settings such as outpatient orthopedic, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or acute facilities
