Physical Therapist (PT)

Description

Complete hospital and rehab orientation including, but not limited to Code of Conduct, Corporate compliance, P&P and EMR documentation in order to participate in PT weekend patient coverage rotation for PT evaluation of physician referred patients in hospital, swing bed SNF and Manor Skilled Part A.

Qualifications

Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited physical therapy program. Current license to practice as PT in the State of Georgia. Demonstrated competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in PT. Ability to understand departmental policies and procedures. Ability to assess patient needs and develop/implement a comprehensive plan of care. CPR certification required.

Experience

Prefer 2+ years of PT practice with membership affiliation with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and/or state association (PTAG).
