Our Physical Therapists develop normal components of movement. They integrate postural reflexes and reactions and work on motor control, coordination, static and dynamic balance, muscle strength and flexibility, and body awareness and motor planning.

Required Skills & Experience

o Valid California PT license
o Pediatric experience preferred
o A playful therapy approach with a passion for working with children
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Strong organizational skills, self-initiative and desire for continued learning
o A family-centered, collaborative approach to intervention
o Ability to review and revise IEP and 504 goals / objectives along with implementation of revisions.
o Devising, implementing and revising relevant treatment programs.
o Implementing treatment programs and training to parents / professionals in therapy delivery.
o Assessing communication environments.
o Monitoring and evaluating clients progress.
o Working with clients on a one-to-one basis as well as in groups to deliver therapy.
o Writing and maintaining confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for clients and other professionals.
o Managing a caseload taking account of priority cases, waiting lists, successful outcomes, referral and discharge of service u .
o Working with others to improve the effectiveness of service delivery.
o Supporting/supervising newly qualified physical therapists and physical therapy assistants.
o Setting organizational and personal objectives.
o Planning and delivering training sessions.
o Contributing to the implementation and evaluation of projects and developments.
o Participating in research projects
