Looking for a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Greenport, NY. We are offering competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefit package.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provides skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  2. Follows all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
  3. Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
  4. Provides documentation of patient's condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
  5. Regularly discuss es with supervising Physical Therapist patient's progress and any concerns or guidance needed .
  6. Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patient ' s engagement and responses to treatment , modifies as necessary .

Requirements include:
  1. Valid NY professional license
  2. Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  3. Preferred experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities
  4. New graduates are welcome
