Summary
  • Maine Medical Center, a MaineHealth member, is recruiting for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Critical Care team in beautiful Portland, Maine.

    The PA or ACNP will perform daily rounds on patients with a team of fellows, residents and students, as well as development and implementation of care plans, ordering and interpreting of diagnostic studies, procedures, admissions, discharges and family meetings. This is a dynamic setting that is growing and evolving.

    Applicants must have completed an APP residency program or have 2 years of relevant experience. New graduates/individuals without relevant experience may consider applying to the APP Residency program. APP Critical Care Residency Program| MMC | Portland, ME

    Desired Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Applicants must have completed an APP residency program or have 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
