About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a distribution industry leader seeking a Pickup Scheduling Coordinator to join their growing team. Our client is experiencing increased demand and needs additional support to ensure smooth scheduling of POs and logistics operations.

Job Description:

The Pickup Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for managing and organizing pickup schedules, processing logistics paperwork, and providing coverage and support to various teams within the dispatch office. This role offers an opportunity to learn the intricacies of logistics and distribution while contributing to a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and enter paperwork related to pickups into the system.
• Assist with scheduling purchase orders (POs) for pickups.
• Communicate with external 3PL teams and internal departments to ensure timelines are met.
• Provide team support by answering emails and addressing inquiries from drivers.
• Help with dispatch team projects, including scanning and organizing bills.
• Offer coverage for team members who are out on leave or vacation.
• Ensure all scheduling tasks are handled efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of experience in logistics, scheduling, or a related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Reliable and team-oriented with a willingness to help out where needed.

Additional Details:

• Reporting To: Supervisor who fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Team Structure: Work closely with a small, experienced team within a larger office of 15+ employees.
• Work Hours:
  • Training: 7 AM to 4 PM
  • After training: 8 AM to 5 PM
