Associate Attorney Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• 2-5 years of litigation experience
• Strong research and writing skills
• Graduated in top 10% of law school class
• MO bar membership in good standing
• Personal injury experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and organizational skills

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of 15-20 cases with the support of paralegals and secretaries
• Draft pleadings and manage discovery topics
• Communicate with clients throughout the case
• Appear at hearings and take depositions
• Participate in trial proceedings, motion practice, and briefings
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic case planning
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Maintain organized case files and documentation
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
