As a Planning/Logistics? Analyst you will:

Responsible for various duties and functions that support key day-to-day production planning/scheduling related activities, and shipment coordination. Interfaces daily with Supervisors and Managers to track and monitor production schedules. Responsible for communicating to both external and internal customer requirements. Acts as a liaison between internal and external customers resulting in increased customer satisfaction.

• Provides support to Sales team by responding to customer inquiries and assists with customer RFQ's
• Assists with production schedules using MRP System and Excel spreadsheets.
• Responsible for communicating external and internal customer requirements
• management of customer KPIs to ensure on time delivery of both new products and repairs
• liaison between internal and external customers resulting in increased customer satisfaction
• Responsible for overseeing outgoing international and domestic shipments

This is a temp to perm opportunity.

The ideal Planning/Logistics? Analyst candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in production scheduling/planning and understanding of MRP functions, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Experience with networked PC based computer system (spreadsheets, Email, MRP/ERP systems)
• Lean Manufacturing experience: JIT, Kanban and Pull Systems is highly desirable.
• Previous experience expediting products/parts in a manufacturing environment
• Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both positive and negative news
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.

Payrate: $24 - $28 an hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
