Plant Controller Benefits and Compensation:

• A professional working environment (in office, Tampa)

• Highly competitive compensation of $125,000 - $145,000 (commensurate with experience), plus up to 20% bonus and strong benefits

Plant Controller Job Duties:

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash management, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, inventory costing, check processing, fixed assets management, and loans administration
• Lead the monthly financial close process and prepare consolidated financial statements
• Oversee cash handling activities and banking-related reporting
• Manage inventory costing across multiple locations in a standard costing environment
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Monitor key accounting performance indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborate closely with the CFO to develop the annual budget
• Coordinate the company's commercial insurance requirements
• Ensure adherence to established accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
• Act as the primary liaison for external audit activities

Plant Controller Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, with over 7 years of experience in manufacturing
• Advanced Excel required
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing personnel and fostering their development
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Capacity to engage positively with employees, customers, and suppliers
• Provide decision-making support to the management team
