Plant Engineer needs Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural

Plant Engineer requires:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated, self-directed personality with the ability to work both independently and with teams
• Strong technical writing skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Fast learner on new software systems • Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Maximo a plus
• Experience in Plant/Facilities or Engineering for the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology sector seen as a plus

Plant Engineer duties:

• Assist or lead efforts related to content contained in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) and Document Management System.
• Support the Engineering and Maintenance groups in the acquisition, decommission, and relocation of equipment in Manufacturing, Utility or Lab areas.
• Process all such requests including all associated activities.
• Revise Maintenance related Standard Operating Procedures and forms to support the site's maintenance programs.
• Work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo) to
• Create, revise, and ensure approval of job plans to improve site's maintenance programs and to support equipment additions and changes as it may relate to engineering projects, maintenance requests, or continuous improvement.
• Enter new or revise existing spare parts data Work in the Document Management System to route documents related to acquisitions, decommissions, etc for review and approval. Provide regular status reports/metrics on status of work.
• Ensure work is being completed in a timely manner while escalating any delays.
