What's the Job?

• 10+ years of Java Development experience required.
• Expertise in Liferay DXP and portal technologies (Portlets, Layouts, Themes, Services)
• Java, J2EE, Webservices, Spring framework application development
• Expert proficiency and hands-on experience on Microservices, and Spring Boot
• Hands-on working knowledge on Java J2EE.
• Good knowledge of OOPS concepts
• Individual will be responsible for writing code in Java and J2EE technologies along with Spring boot microservices.

Nice to Have:

• Kafka would be nice to have
• Liferay nice to have but not required

Will be doing:

• Creating API catalogues

• Deployment, troubleshooting, working through errors, they should be able to do all of this
• Full Stack Developer (front end React for Frontend) - Liferay integrates Frontend and Backend
• A lot of new platform development (2022/2023) - 80% new development, 20% support
• Will have to guide the offshore resources (15) total team 20; wants this person to be a mentor - they need to be able to operate on their own
