Job Description

Under supervision, does work relating to the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of gas, potable water, plumbing, and drainage systems; performs related work.

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Supervises and is responsible for the work of Plumber's Helpers .
• Installs, maintains, and repairs piping of all kinds for water, storm, waste, soil, and vent systems.
• Sets, maintains, and repairs plumbing fixtures .
• When necessary, determines, and requisitions job materials required while work is in progress. Keeps job and other records.
• May supervise assigned personnel.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Five (5) years of recent, satisfactory, full-time, paid experience as a plumber; or
2. A satisfactory equivalent.
3. Ability to satisfactory interpret instructions, specifications, etc., and to use and maintain tools and equipment.
