The Point of Care Supervisor assists the Senior Manager, Medical Director, and campus Administrative Director with compliance and performs all required duties related to quality testing and accurate test performance through operator training, equipment monitoring, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, quality control review, proficiency testing and quality assurance monitoring. Make sure that validations, bi-annual correlations, and all testing is properly documented. The incumbent will be charged with cross campus coverage in the absence of a different Point of Care Supervisor.

Education
Bachelors Degree: Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory. (Required)

Experience
4 Years experience working in a hospital laboratory (Required)
4 Years experience as a registered Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) (Preferred)
2 Years experience in Hospital Point of Care (Preferred)
1 Year experience in a Supervisory or Lead role (Preferred)

License/Certifications
ASCP - Amer Soc Clinical Pathology (Preferred)
