Job Summary
  • UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring for Population Science Project Coordinator II, School of Public Health, Dean's Office
  • Experience and Education
  • Master's degree in related field and three (3) years experience in behavioral, social science or public health
  • Bachelor degree in related field and five (5) years experience in behavioral, social science or public health.
  • Prefer bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
Job Duties
  • Coordinate reporting aspects such as preparing progress reports, continuing reviews and updating records for Internal Review Board and funding agency.
  • Meet regularly with other staff involved in data collection and data analysis to ensure timelines are being met; identify problems and formulate plans for resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and submission of grant proposals; create budgets and justifications, work with collaborators to ensure subcontractor agreements are complete and accurate and acquire administrative authorization when needed.
  • Assist in conducting surveys and gathering or abstracting data.
  • Participate in recruiting and interviewing research participants.
  • Synthesize and present research findings.
  • Serve as liaison to other departments and/or outside entities.
  • Devise work plans for research staff.
  • Supervise research project staff by orienting, training and giving ongoing feedback. Performs other duties as assigned.
