The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. Open Banking and API platform. We develop open banking APIs and expose various B2B APIs through AMEX through developer portal for external API consumption

You will work with Director Portfolio Management and business leaders to ensure maximum value in the portfolio plan in terms of value-management and investment optimization. Works with Directors of Technical Delivery and Project Management resources to engage and ensure the availability of the required resources in accordance with the overall portfolio delivery plan. Participates in the investment decision-making process with the business, by ensuring provision of information concerning specific business opportunities where technology can improve the value of the business. Provides recommendations on re-prioritization of the delivery plan where necessary. Monitors and tracks multiple portfolio(s) against delivery, cost, budget, forecast, schedule and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supports the Investment decision process, by providing provision of technology budgets and advice on prioritization and scheduling

· Assists in the definition, planning and build of the investment portfolio

· Re-prioritizing investments based on either business/technical resource availability and/or changing business priorities or business case

· Provides solutions on resource optimization by suggesting alternative resource channel options, and raises any resource capacity risks that may affect delivery priorities

· Using appropriate tools, in engaging with delivery teams

· Ensures that all delivery projects are supported by an up-to-date business case (i.e. project governance)

· Using reporting tools, monitors the progress of the portfolio delivery and ensures timely and effective communication of the status and assessment of risks/issues

· Partner with finance to ensure alignment of budgets, actuals and forecasts, and track hardware/circuit (depreciable costs), back to forecast and calculates year 2 impact

· May act as a primary liaison between IT and the Business

· Accountable for the Clarity data

· Assists Directors with technical delivery engagement processes and business expectation management

· Works with the Finance organization to reconcile and forecast the cost of delivering the plan

Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
