The Practice Facility Coordinator ensures the highest level of service and practice facility cleanliness to the players, members, and guests of the Club. The Practice Facility Coordinator is the direct liaison between the players, caddies (where available), members, and guests and the Club.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Basic knowledge of golf and previous experience in a golf country club or similar preferred
  • Must have previous customer service experience


RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Set-up & breakdown the PGA TOUR Practice Facility according to PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties guidelines. This includes accurate completion of the Practice Facility Set-Up/Closing Checklist and adherence to Set-Up/Closing Procedures for: Clubhouse/Bag Storage Room and Practice Facility
  • Genuinely welcome players, members, and guests as they enter the PGA TOUR Practice Facility area. Provide a brief history of the facility and the golf courses
  • Orient players, members, and guests to the PGA TOUR Practice Facility. Identify the different practice areas such as chipping and putting areas. Escort players, members, and guests to their desired practice location
  • Set up players, members, and guests at an individual practice station. Ensure they have required supplies and information such as practice balls, tees, and yardages
  • Maintain visibility with all players, members, and guests by walking the PGA TOUR Practice Facility. Clean players, members, and guests' golf clubs as needed. Answer any additional questions players, members, and guests may have
  • Coordinate "Next to Tee" within stipulated club guidelines with caddies (where available). Coordinate transition of players, members, and guests to the 1st tee with the Starter/Course Advisor on duty
  • Ensure PGA TOUR Practice Facility is properly maintained and serviced during hours of operation in accordance with PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties standards. This includes proper inventory supplies and:
  • Drinking & bottled water is consistently stocked
  • Maintain appropriate levels of cleaning solution in club washing receptacle
  • Trash is routinely emptied
  • Club stands and yardage board are accurate and cleaned daily
  • Spare golf balls and bags are retrieved
  • Maintain effective and accurate communication throughout the day with all departments in Golf Operations to ensure the highest experience level for players, members, and guests
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a variety of outdoor weather conditions. Position is very active and requires lifting, pulling or pushing up to or over 25 pounds, moving and/or lift items with awkward weights. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

An essential function of the job is to be able to comply with all applicable federal, state and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
