Description & Requirements

As a Practice Management Data Lead, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the STAR Practice Management system in the Firm's Accounting department. You will assist with user support and data/report requests from Firm partners and employees by delivering reliable, high-quality email and phone support, data analytics, and custom reporting from the STAR Practice Management system.

This is a highly detailed position that requires strong adherence to quality control standards. A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently is a must. Requirements of this position include the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism. Confidentiality is crucial to this role, and the candidate must be able to maintain and protect confidential matters.

How you will contribute:

  • Monitor daily for data integrity opportunities by executing existing and new SQL exception queries
  • Oversee daily activities of the PM Support inbox, monitor end user requests ensuring consistent data integrity guidelines are followed and communicated to users, and are of a nature consistent with the Firm's policies, procedures, and culture
  • Weekly collect and review timesheets and expense entries and file expense receipts timely
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly monitor for employee FTO usage
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion
  • Provide training to Practice Data Specialist Is and IIs to facilitate career development
  • Assign/monitor work to Practice Data Specialist Is and IIs as necessary on behalf of the Practice Management Manager
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or higher preferred
  • 1 year or more of experience in a similar role
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (Functionality, formulas),Outlook, PowerPoint,and Adobe
  • Ability to learn and apply accounting reporting principles is desired
