The role you'll contribute:

Manages the functions of multiple practice locations . Manages physician office employees engaged in daily physician practice operations to result in facilitating effective daily practice operations and delivery of quality patient care . Prepares reports and correspondence pursuant to physician practice daily operations as required . Manage operations of multiple sites and activities of multiple providers.

  • Manage s multiple physician practices, patient service, billing, accounts receivables and payables, regulatory compliance and policy and procedure compliance while maintaining appropriate internal controls over cash receipt functions .
  • Participate s in interviewing, hiring and discipline of staff for multiple offices/clinics.
  • Provide s leadership and direction in accordance with organizational goals and objectives .
  • Responsible for completion of regular performance evaluations for each staff member of multiple practices; conduct evaluations for new staff prior to completion of probationary period.
  • Responsible for safety and comfort of patients, and the health and safety of staff . Maintains infection control standards and OSHA standards for physician practice . Assures staff knowledge and compliance with all related entities, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and OSHA policies and procedures .
  • Effectively maintain all required records for the office/clinic; demonstrate good organizational skills.
  • Assist s in the monitoring of practice site revenue generation and expense allocation.
  • Establish es staff schedules and ensure s adequate coverage is available to cover vacations and absences and uses flexible staffing when appropriate .
  • Ensures that physician scheduling and calendar is completed monthly. Reviews and/or makes changes to the provider schedules and/or scheduling templates upon requests; and assures that patient appointments are rescheduled appropriately, and staffing is available . Ensures communication with staff members regarding schedule changes .
  • Reviews, monitors, and reports scheduling data to providers and to include fill rates, no show rates, patient wait times, provider time off, and overall appointment schedule management .
  • Works with providers proactively to increase provider production, patient satisfaction, decrease staff overtime, and overall quality of work time in balance with personal life for all staff and providers .


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
  • Associate degree required or a current AdventHealth employee actively enrolled in an Associate degree program . Employees must stay actively enrolled and degree completion cannot exceed three years.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures of various physician specialty practices sufficient to direct operations and to provide effective patient care .
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and collections .
  • Knowledge of fiscal management .
