Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide education, training, and competency assessments on and for clinical staff in a physician office setting. This position will provide coordination and support regarding the safety and quality of patient care-related activities, office workflows and laboratory functions, in collaboration with Registered Nurses, Radiology Technologists and lab coordinators. This position will be responsible for competency program design as it relates to clinical best practice processes, clinical tasks, and procedures that occur in a physician office setting.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates degree required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of ambulatory back office experience or other clinical ambulatory setting, including knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy and ambulatory clinical laboratory processes.
Demonstrated experience with clinical quality/safety programs and principles.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Professional healthcare certification or licensure.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Electronic health records, Epic is preferred.
Experience providing clinical safety/quality training and competency assessments strongly preferred.
