Northridge Surgery Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Pre Op PACU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedics (total knee, hip, etc.). Northridge Surgery Center is a fast paced ambulatory surgery center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

Provides nursing care within state standards of practice and the policies of the Surgery Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members. Helps maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of unit as a whole. May have additional responsibilities as designed by the Director of Nursing/Administrator, which include, but are not limited to, providing patient care in other departments (after being oriented and educated), serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed in the state.
  • CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
  • Pediatric advanced life support certification required.
  • One-year experience required intra-operative setting.
  • Orthopedic experience in Total Joint and Spine required.
  • Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
  • Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
