Press Operator

Shift: 1st 6am-4pm M-TH and 2nd shift 4pm-Midnight M-TH OT as needed on Friday
Pay Rate:1st shift--$15.50/hour 2nd shift-- $16/hour

Reporting
The Press Operator reports to the Aersol Production Lead or Cosmetics Production Manager directly while obtaining guidance and instruction from the Production Manager.

The Press Operator is responsible for the following duties:
  • The Press Operator is responsible for the safe operation of high tonnage metal forming presses, including feeding of coiled metal into the press.
  • The Press Operator is also responsible for the Inspection of product produced at each assigned press. This inspection will be a gauge check, visual inspection and acid test. Press Operation includes the proper completion of all associated paper work and reports.
  • The Press Operator is responsible for packing of product, including building boxes, preparing and loading pallets, and labeling cartons.
  • Maintain a clean work environment. Verify and record gages daily as well as recording findings through the SPC Software Package.
  • Assist other members in the tPOD, as needed to maintain the highest levels of quality and productivity, including being able to remove a die for the die setter to support expeditius tooling changes.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Basic computer skills and experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Ability to use basic hands tools
  • Preferred education is a High School Diploma or GED.
